About these terms

These terms form an agreement between Elite Volleyball Academy and the person booking a session, referred to below as you. Where the participant is under 18, the parent or legal guardian making the booking accepts these terms on the participant's behalf.

By booking, paying for, or attending any session, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not book.

02

Registration and bookings

All participants must be registered before taking part in a session. Registration requires accurate participant details, an emergency contact, and disclosure of any relevant medical condition.

  • A place is confirmed only once payment has been received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Places are limited at each venue and are allocated in the order bookings are completed.
  • Age group placement is set by the academy. Coaches may move a participant to a different group where it better suits their stage of development.
  • You are responsible for keeping contact and medical details current.
03

Trial sessions

Trial sessions let a participant experience training before committing to a term. Trials must be booked in advance and are subject to availability at the chosen venue.

  • One trial session is offered per participant.
  • Registration and medical disclosure are required before a trial, the same as for any other session.
  • A trial does not reserve a place in an ongoing group.
04

Fees and payment

Fees are published at the time of booking and are payable in advance. Prices are quoted in UAE dirhams and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • Term fees cover the sessions listed in the schedule for that term.
  • Fees are set per participant and cannot be transferred between participants without written agreement.
  • Where payment is not received by the due date, the academy may suspend a participant's place.
  • Fees may change between terms. Any change is published before bookings open for the following term.
05

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation requests must be made in writing to the academy.

  • Sessions missed by the participant are not refundable and are not usually transferable.
  • Where the academy cancels a session, a replacement session or a credit will be offered.
  • Refunds for medical reasons may be considered where supported by a medical certificate.

Venue closures. Sessions may be cancelled at short notice because of venue closure, extreme weather, public holidays or circumstances outside the academy's control. Affected participants are notified as early as possible and a replacement session or credit is offered.

06

Attendance and schedules

Session times, days and venues are published for each term. The academy may adjust the schedule where a venue changes its availability or where group numbers make a change necessary.

  • Participants should arrive in good time to prepare for the session.
  • Late arrival may limit participation where a session has already begun, at the coach's discretion.
  • Where a schedule changes, registered participants are notified using the contact details held on file.
07

Health and medical

Volleyball is a physical sport carrying a risk of injury. By registering, you confirm the participant is in suitable health to take part in physical training.

  • All relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries and medications must be disclosed at registration and kept up to date.
  • Participants who are unwell or carrying an injury should not attend until they are fit to train.
  • Coaching staff may pause or end a participant's involvement in a session where they judge it unsafe to continue.

Emergency treatment. By registering, you authorise the academy to arrange emergency medical treatment where a participant needs it and you cannot be reached. Any resulting cost is your responsibility.

08

Safeguarding and supervision

The academy is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every participant, and to maintaining an environment where young athletes are protected.

  • Coaching staff supervise participants during scheduled session times only.
  • Parents and guardians are responsible for participants before and after the session, including drop off and collection.
  • Participants under 18 must be collected promptly at the end of a session by a parent, guardian or an adult authorised at registration.
  • Any safeguarding concern should be raised with the academy immediately using the contact details below.
09

Code of conduct

Every participant, parent and guardian is expected to support a respectful training environment.

  • Follow instructions given by coaching staff.
  • Treat coaches, teammates, opponents and venue staff with respect.
  • Look after equipment and facilities.
  • Behaviour that puts others at risk, or that repeatedly disrupts a session, may result in a participant being removed from the programme without refund.
10

Venue rules

Sessions run at partner schools, sports facilities and beach venues across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Each venue sets its own rules for access, parking, spectators and facility use, and those rules apply alongside these terms.

  • Access is limited to the areas set aside for the session.
  • Appropriate sports clothing and footwear are required.
  • Personal belongings are brought to a venue at your own risk.
11

Photography and media

The academy may photograph or film sessions, camps and tournaments for coaching review and promotional use, including on its website and social media channels.

  • You may withdraw consent for a participant to appear in promotional media at any time by contacting the academy in writing.
  • Withdrawing consent does not require any images already published to be removed retrospectively, although the academy will make reasonable efforts to do so on request.
  • Filming or photography by parents and spectators may be restricted at some venues, and any images taken should include only your own child.
12

Personal data

The academy collects participant and guardian details in order to run sessions, communicate about schedules, and respond to emergencies. Data is handled in line with the academy's privacy policy and applicable UAE data protection law.

Details are not sold, and are shared with venues or third parties only where necessary to deliver a session or where required by law.

13

Liability

The academy takes reasonable care to run sessions safely, with qualified coaching staff and appropriate supervision.

  • Participation is voluntary and carries the risks normally associated with sport.
  • The academy is not liable for loss or damage to personal property brought to a venue.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law.
14

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your booking is the version that applies to it. The date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised.

15

Governing law
