Meet our Coaches

Nemanja Vidic

Nemanja Vidic has played a crucial role in the development of our volleyball academy since its founding in 2018. Initially joining as our first coach, he has since transitioned to the position of operations manager, where he applies his extensive knowledge of competitive volleyball to enhance our training programs and player development initiatives.

With a focus on fostering a disciplined and supportive training environment, Nemanja has been instrumental in setting high standards for both athletes and coaching staff. In his current role, he oversees the daily operations of the academy, ensuring that all programs align with our mission to cultivate skilled and well-rounded athletes. His dedication to the success of our players and the overall growth of the academy continues to shape our positive reputation in the volleyball community.

Coach Pauline

Pauline Cardiente gained her experience and knowledge in volleyball back in the Philippines. She started coaching when she was 18 years old for National University – Nazareth School where they became the UAAP Champion Team and she served as an Assistant Coach.

She then decided to continue playing as a setter in De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde for 4 years. Before finishing her degree, she played semi-professionally for different club teams such as F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, Cignal HD Spikers and Marinerang Pilipina Lady Skippers. She achieved significant accomplishments such as winning the Philippine Super Liga 2018 Grand Prix — Silver Medal, among others. She also pursued her professional volleyball career with Cignal HD Spikers while being the Head Coach for De La Salle University – Integrated School. And most recently, she was a part of a club team here in Dubai and played for the UAE Volleball League where they finished 4th place in the season.

Coach Abdou

Abderrahman Bouzar brings a wealth of experience to the table, having played volleyball professionally and represented the national team for over a decade. He has achieved tremendous success…

during his playing career, including winning the Arab championship, the African championship, and participating in the volleyball World Cup.

In addition to his playing career, Coach Abdou has also spent five years coaching volleyball.

Coach Aaron

Aaron Marcos developed a deep love for volleyball at an early age. With years of dedication and hard work, he transformed his passion into a profession. Aaron has coached athletes of all ages, specializing in youth development, and is committed to nurturing the skills and potential of young players. 

His coaching career began at an esteemed volleyball academy, where he worked with children aged 6-10, inspiring them to develop their talents and fostering a lifelong love for the sport.

Coach Mohammad

Mohammad Reza is a passionate volleyball coach at our academy, bringing over 12 years of experience in both competitive play and coaching. His journey in volleyball began in his teenage years, where he excelled as a setter and developed a deep understanding of the game’s dynamics.

After competing in various national and regional tournaments, he shifted his focus to coaching, driven by a desire to share his knowledge and inspire young athletes.

Coach Vanja

With 15 years of playing and coaching experience, Vanja has a proven track record in the world of volleyball. She began her journey in her hometown of Belgrade, where she played for a team that clinched the Serbian Championship for three consecutive years.

Vanja then took her talents to the United States, where she dedicated seven years to playing and coaching at the Division I level, in addition to coaching club volleyball. As a former outside hitter, her playing style and expertise bring a unique perspective to her coaching methods.

Her passion for the game, combined with her extensive experience, makes her a valuable asset to our academy.

Coach Vukasin

Vukasin Djurdjevic is a dedicated volleyball coach with over 8 years of experience in the sport, combining a successful playing career with a passion for teaching. 

At our academy, Vukasin is committed to instilling a love for the game while helping players achieve their individual goals. His expertise and enthusiasm make him a valuable asset to our coaching team.

Coach Daniel

Daniel Borsi brings a wealth of expertise to the volleyball court, having dedicated over 15 years to mastering the game. His competitive journey began in local leagues, but it was his drive and tactical intelligence that earned him a spot on national teams, where he competed in high-stakes tournaments across Europe. 

Known for his precision and strategic depth, Daniel achieved several team championships and personal accolades throughout his playing career.

Coach Ali Salavati

Ali Salavati’s journey into volleyball began with an unexpected twist—originally a football enthusiast, he discovered volleyball during a casual game at a school event, and it instantly sparked his curiosity.

Ali soon made waves in regional tournaments. After competing at a high level for several years, he decided to pursue a degree in Sport and Physical Education, where he found a deeper passion for coaching.

Coach Arnold

Arnold Bautista didn’t set out to be a volleyball player—it found him. Growing up in a coastal town, his early athletic pursuits were all about swimming and outdoor sports, but volleyball caught his attention during a beach tournament one summer.

Arnold spent the next few years mastering the sport’s fast-paced, strategic nature. His unique blend of agility and game sense propelled him to national competitions, where he gained recognition as a versatile and adaptive player.

Coach Keith

Keith Suares is a dedicated volleyball coach with a rich background in competitive play, bringing over a decade of experience to the academy.

His volleyball journey began at a young age, where he excelled as a middle blocker in various youth leagues. Keith’s extensive playing experience, which includes competing in several prestigious tournaments, has equipped him with a deep understanding of the game’s intricacies.

Coach Minja

Minja Stanimirovic has been involved in volleyball since 2008. Over the years, she has honed her skills and developed a passion for the game. She has had the opportunity to play in two different cities, gaining valuable experience and knowledge along the way.

Her dedication and hard work paid off when she participated in the Volleyball National Championship of Serbia in 2013, 2014 and 2015. A major accomplishment and testament to her talent and commitment to the sport.

Coach Raoof

Raoof Abouzeid has been involved in volleyball since the age of 12, and over the years, he has achieved significant success both as a player and as a member of the national team. Notably, he participated in several Qatar tournaments…

and cups for cadet and junior categories, as well as the Asian Men’s U20 Championship in Taipei, China. With his team, Coach Raoof also secured 3rd place in the Arab Junior Championship in Morocco and the Gulf Junior Championship in Oman and won 1st place in the Gulf Championship for Youth National Teams in Saudi Arabia.

With a passion for the sport, Coach Raoof hopes to inspire and motivate the next generation of volleyball players. His goal is to instil in his students the same love and dedication that he has for the game and to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations.

Coach Ali Abdollah

Ali Abdollah Sarras started his volleyball career at the age of 15, joining a local club in his hometown. Over the years, he achieved several accolades, including winning the regional championship in 2015 and reaching the finals of the national league in 2017 and 2018. 

After completing his degree in Sport and Physical Education in 2021, Ali transitioned to coaching at his home club before bringing his expertise to Dubai, where he continues to inspire the next generation of athletes.

Coach Milena

Milena Gavric started her volleyball career in 2010. She led her hometown team, “Mladi Radnik,” to national cadet championship victories twice and national junior championship victories three times.
In 2016, Coach Milena achieved another milestone when she led her team to win the first B league of Serbia, followed by a university league championship in 2019 and 2020. In 2022, she ventured deeper into beach volleyball at the Beach Pro Tour.

Coach João

João Lobo’s journey in the world of volleyball began in 1998 when he first picked up the ball and started playing competitively. Over the next nine years, he honed his skills and became an accomplished player in his own right.

However, his passion for the game did not stop there. In 2008, he decided to take his love for volleyball to the next level and transitioned into coaching.

Since then, Joao has made a name for himself as a skilled coach who has led his teams to numerous victories and accolades. One of his most notable achievements to date was his team’s impressive win at the 2019 UAAK (Universities Athletics Association in Kuwait) championship, where his male team emerged as champions, and the female team finished as runners-up.
He was also named Coach of the Year in his home club in Portugal in 2016!

Coach Luka

Luka Jankovic first started in Club Valjevo where he helped win the prestigious First League of Serbia championship and the second league of Serbia, demonstrating his exceptional coaching abilities and commitment to..

his team’s success. Additionally, he was a part of Club Lucky Star Belgrade to two victories in the second league of Serbia.

Coach Tamara

Tamara Jezdimirovic discovered her passion for volleyball at the age of 10. After honing her skills with guidance and practice, she began coaching young children from ages 6-10 at a volleyball academy in Belgrade, Serbia.

Tamara spent three years working as a volleyball coach in Serbia, while also playing in the second league. During her high school years, she played for the national team at the World School Championship. Tamara’s impressive skills also earned her third place in the junior category of the Beach League of Belgrade. Her experience and dedication have helped her become a successful coach who inspires young players to achieve their potential.

Coach Maria

Maria Hanusik brings a wealth of experience to our academy, combining her skills as a player and coach to inspire and develop our athletes. With a strong foundation in volleyball, she has played at competitive levels and transitioned into coaching with a focus on skill development and team dynamics.

Maria’s coaching philosophy emphasizes fostering a positive and inclusive environment, where players can thrive and reach their full potential. Her commitment to the sport and dedication to her athletes make her an invaluable member of our coaches

Coach Mladen

Mladen Zivanovic began his volleyball journey at the age of 13, playing for his hometown club “Ok Borac”. He has achieved numerous accomplishments in his career, such as winning the Serbian…

Second League in 2016 and winning the first round of the cup in 2018, 2019, and 2020. In 2019, he also won the First Serbian League B and the university championship in 2017. In 2021, he completed his degree in Sport and Physical Education in Niš and began coaching at his hometown club before moving to Dubai.
